Visiting Vancouver & Whistler

Join us in beautiful British Columbia!

We are blessed to be riding in such a beautiful and cycle-friendly part of the world. This year will be an incredible year to visit as the country is in full-on Canadian party mode celebrating the very special 150th birthday. We can't wait to show you the very best of us and of Canada! Here's a little of what to expect.

Set on the breathtaking west coast of Canada, Vancouver boasts beaches, beautiful leafy parks, mountains, long warm summers and an insatiable appetite for keeping active and making the very most of life.

Vancouver's aim is to be the world's greenest city by 2020, and key to that plan is cycling infrastructure. There are hundreds of kilometers of dedicated protected cycling routes and bike paths, and Vancouverites take full advantage. We're a very active city that values healthy living, and the bike has become a central part of life. Not only will you get to enjoy riding the incredible RBC GranFondo Whistler, but you can explore the area easily by bike too! Take a look at the Vancouver cycling map below (click for full version).

Set at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, Whistler has a well-deserved reputation for incredible beauty and active culture. The slopes are alive in the summer as much as in Winter, and in the valley floor an incredible network of bike paths and trails link the many different areas. There are stunning lakes, unspoilt forests, miles upon endless miles to explore and luxurious accommodation to be found. The only hard thing is having to say goodbye!

After riding the breathtaking Sea-to-Sky highway that connects both Vancouver and Whistler, you're treated to one of the most memorable finish line and apres-ride locations imaginable. Now, to whet your tastebuds...
